Mobile app—17.0.1

Version 17.0.1 of the mobile apps for Android and iOS was released in December 2017 and includes the following capabilities:

  • Attach photos and videos to assignments.

Mobile workers can now attach photos and videos to provide additional information about the work that is done. Some organizations use this to provide proof of work completion, while others use it to document issues noticed in the field that require additional work. View an assignment's details in the mobile app to attach a photo or video.

  • Pass additional information to ArcGIS Collector and ArcGIS Survey123.

When enabled by project owners, mobile workers can pass additional information to Collector and Survey123. When launching Collector or Survey123, a new collection or survey, respectively, is started and includes information from the assignment.

    Note:

Using the additional parameters with ArcGIS Collector requires ArcGIS Collector 17.0.3 or later.

  • Sorting removes Critical grouping.

When you sort your assignments, all assignments are now sorted by the specified criteria. Critical assignments are no longer kept in their own section.
